Lyrics + Manual Timeline + Cues

Before you begin

• Know the time signature, approximate tempo, section order, and measure count.
• Have the lyrics and chord progression available.

Prepare the song

1. Open the song, select Prepare Song, and choose Lyrics + manual timeline + cues.
2. Confirm title, artist, key, time signature, and BPM.
3. On Lyrics, enter lyrics and label every section.
4. Optionally assign Colors.
5. On Chart, add or remove measures and beats until the grid matches the arrangement.
6. Place each section divider on its first measure.
7. Enter chords at the correct measure and beat. Use Save + Next Measure to move efficiently.
8. Place lyric lines where they begin.
9. Optionally create a continuous click track with a count-in of at least one measure.
10. Play through the grid and fix any extra, missing, or short measure.
11. On Cues, place the actions you need at the correct measure and beat.
12. Review Finish and select Save Song.

Test it

1. Start at measure 1, beat 1.
2. Step through every section with the song controls or pedal.
3. Confirm measure, chord, lyric, and cue all agree.
4. If using a click, rehearse from beginning to end.

You are done when

• Measure 1 beat 1 is the real beginning of the count.
• Section boundaries and chords match the arrangement.
• Every cue fires on the intended measure and beat.
